Easy or Difficult, 404 Jeffery
I have a magnum Winchester pre 64 action as pictured here:

If I wanted to build a 404 Jeffery rather than the 375 H&H, is it possible? I assume it is but is there a lot work necessary which would make this action less than desireable.

What bottom metal would you suggest and how many down would it hold, 3, 4?

Thanks.

The feed rails may need altering. I built one on a Post 64 .300WINMAG action and had Dennis Olsen make it feed, which it does now, beautifully.
