Sorry for my lack of imgination but could you expound on that a bit? Are you saying you modified the magazine box? If so, in what way? It doesn't sound like a trivial matter to me, but maybe it's not as involved as I think. Thanks.

You can open about any modern std length bolt action to take the new Ruger case, most will take the 416 Rem case for that matter..I have done many Mausers, and a Ruger 77 would be no porblem..Lengthen the magazine in back and a tad in front, a little rail work, and shorten the bolt stop basically..
