Here is my 416 Rem. Built from a 1953 pre 64 Win 70 H&H length action. It has a #5 contour 22" Douglas Premium Stainless in 1:12 twist. Figured Claro walnut stock with Ebony forend tip, checkered steel grip cap, Pachmayer Decelerator recoil pad, dual steel crossbolts and duplex bedding; the action is bedded in Brownell's SteelBed and the barrel is rock solid in Brownell's AcraGlas Gel. Marbles # 25 rear and banded ramp front, topped with 2-7 Leupold Vari-XIIc in Leupold QR bases and rings. 9.01 pounds empty. PA Bear Hunter, NRA Benefactor | ||

I wish I had used a fresh target instead of this old patched up one. Anyhow here is my rock solid bedded Douglas 1:12 barrel in action. The first shot was wide right. 6 clicks left and there is the next three shots in a tight clover leaf shot at 100 yds on 2X. ETA: The shots low/left are an Ar15 in 223.
