Any thoughts on rebarreling a Howa 375R or Rem 700SPS (300Ulta Mag @$565)to 404 Jeff?

I have read that the 300 RUM rebarrel is about the easiest way to get a reliable .404. I bought a stainless Winchester 300 RUM action to turn into a Jeffery, but I decided that I can't live with a stainless .404. I will probably sell my action and look for a blued Model 70 RUM action or buy a completed rifle.

any rem m700 300rum is easy .. and who cares if its a pushfeed
