Gerard and Gina are ignoring prof242 and I, who have paid for .395 bullet orders.

I made up a .395 GSC chamber reamer (rough and finish) to Gerard's specs for him, as well as a reloading-die reamer to match, made by Dave Manson, shipped it to him. My dime.

I purchased a couple of barrels for Gerard, from Harry McGowen, before he sold out to McGowen Precision Barrel, LLC, one stainless (requested by Gerard for use on the .395 GSC) and one chromoly, gratis, in the GSC specified custom barrel contour. These are extras beyond the ones I have for myself from "Old Harry McGowen" make and new "MPB, LLC" make. Just waiting for Gerard, my dime.

I have waited well over a year for Gerard to get "paperwork" in order for me to export to him the barrels. He has the reamers for rifle and dies.

I have also sent him about 1000 dollars for my initial order of bullets at his retail price.

I have so far recieved 50 bullets each of the trio of .395/340-grain bullets.

I sent half of the FN's and half of the SP's to prof242, but have retained all 50 of the HV's to do my testing in water expansion, as requested by Gerard.

.395/340-grain GSC HV performance was perfect at 1600, 2500, and 2700 fps, BTW.

Gerard:

I embarked on this project only after you agreed to make the bullets.

Where are you in the production schedule?

Do you still want me to send you the barrels, or do you want to order them directly from McGowen Precision Barrels, LLC???

And furthermore, Gerard, it is hard to put a price on the R&D you have provided in guidance for barrel and bullet developments. I thought you were actually interested in seeing this project through.

Has the inflation of copper prices or scarcity of proper stock for copper .395 bullets made it impossible to complete the orders for prof242 and I?

Name your price!!!

I'm wondering if my offer of marriage to Gina is the cause of this wait? Could it be she's waiting until I have one foot on a banana peel and the other in the grave?
No matter. I shall wait impatiently until the bullets arrive. coffee

Mac,
Let's not be too hasty.

Rob,
That sounds interesting, I'll send you a PM.

Max,
Right. Let's wait at least one year from the date of your payment to GSC before getting really upset.

Gerard seems to be taking aim at his own foot?
This can be very dangerous if the foot is in the mouth. Confused

Patience, RIP, Patience!

Or at least that was what you advocated last year.

Yes, I was more understanding over a year ago.
Sorry. Rip must continue to RIP.
It is nigh onto a year that I have been holding a couple of barrels for Gerard:

Just as a matter of interest - (I'm not covering up for Gerard, he will speak for himself) - I have waited almost 4 years for our CFR - Central Firearms Registry - to approve and issue my competency certificate to hold my already licensed hunting rifles.

Só, a one year period to wait for import permits, new licenses and all that goes with it as required by the South African Firearms Act of lately is nothing out of the ordinary - in fact it is being over-optimistic to expect official permission granted in such a 'short period'! Wink
