johnchMorgan pads are common on trap ,skeet and sporting clays guns.
I have had them on several shotguns.
The curved pad dosn't fit me at all.
I used the flat pad .
BUT it has is not very soft ,nore dose it absorb recoil.
Your gun will probely need to be cut down ,the ajustable part adds 1/4 -3/8 plus the pad.
I use the ajustable part ,throw away the pad , drill and tap it then fit a Kick EZZ pad to it .
I spent way to much but it works.
Johnch
Boomstick I would just add a normal pachymeyer to your 45/70...........I assume thats what you want it for ??

boom stickyeah, i was thinking about how it adjusts so if i was at the bench using the scope i would not have so much muzzle jump, my guide gun is without ports.
