Where to buy a RSM in 458 Lott Login/Join

Guys,

I am trying to locate a dealer for a RSM in 458 Lott. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I have two dealers here in San Antonio, but they are $150 apart in pricing, so that leads me to believe there is some price variability.

BTW... I am open to a used rifle if someone is looking to sell.

Thanks in advance...

WHEN in stock, they seem to be going for 1400- to 1600 .. and with the price increases, every year, they just go up.

If you find one in stock, you might just buy it .. if it's closer to 1400, you better buy it, as that's a great USED price, much less new.

there's not many made, though they make them every year ...

STDS

I bought mine from a Sportmans Warehouse two years ago, might check there if you haven't already.

Good-Luck

You might try Cabella's in Ft Worth, they had one on the used rack about 3 weeks ago (also had a bunch of NEW .375 Rugers on the used rack)

Thanks for the info... BTW, my user name is STGS as opposed to STDS. Wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong impression about any ailments I might have. Big Grin

Good- Luck finding a 458 Lott

I have not seem any NEW RSM Rugers for 1600! The price has been right around 2k. At least around here at three of four shops, I frequent regularly.

Here is a used RSM $1600 just sold at Cabelas in Hartford Ct. This is pretty typical around these parts. Are they cheaper in Texas?

If there are NEW RSM's for 1600, I would like to know exactly where those are at. I might just buy one for that. Not "like new" or "as new" - but actually NEW.

I took a look after reading this thread. Used Ruger RSM range from 1600 to 2400 depending on the line of BS about the special features of the gun in question.

To be direct, I dont believe NEW RSM are selling for 1400 or 1500 or 1600. Thats a really big geographic difference. They sell around 2,000 here after tax and all said and done. That are NEW not LIKE or AS.

So I am just saying show me one. Cause for that I can probably get close to $1,000 for my CZ in 458Lott and trade up to an RSM. For $1400 buck, yea, you bet.

Ok, I though some one was saying they sold for 1400-1600 new. But that is in fact the used price.

Ok - got it. tu2

I think it was jeffoso's post
"if it's closer to 1400, you better buy it, as that's a great USED price, much less new."

that caused the confusion.

Not sure what he meant by "much less new." ?

gunbroker has them selling new to 1600 ... i MIGHT would part with mine with QD rings for that .. MIGHT .. (no rodney, i still won't sell my 7x64 for that) ....

however, to be realistic, the RSM is a fine rifle, and in the lott, its all but perfect ..

1600 is a GREAT price, anyway you cut it
