Tyler KempSome custom big bore trays I made for a member
Had someone contact me regarding some trays, here is what we came up with.
Open bottom to prevent powder getting stuck as much as possible, 40rds per his request.
These were printed from a pretty durable polymer, and much cheaper than milling some one-offs.
Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

boom stickYou are becoming as industrious as an eager beaver. I hope your parents are proud of you growing up to be such a fine young man. Are you going to offer them for sale in the AR-Bay forum?
Continue your awesomeness

Thanks! Yeah I can probably list these...price just depends on machine time mostly, I quote with a job shop type scenario. Real busy right now getting new bullpup ready for SHOT.

eagle27They look good but seem quite shallow. I like to stand my primed cases neck down so you can see if all primed and stood upright once charged with powder so open bottomed shallow trays would not work for the neck down bit.
How about a tray of reasonable depth with twin diameter holes, the lower hole to hold cases nicely upright neck down and the upper hole to support standing cases. I think this would be the ultimate case specific tray.

Yeah. I like it a lot. Do you have another thread about just the bullpup? It's very interesting, but I don't want to hijack this thread.

I have a very old one that hasn't been updated in sometime as I've worked on this newest version.
As far as the two diameter hole tray...sure could be done, would just be pricey for that one specific advantage I believe.

boom stickYes, please update your bull pup thread. That looks good! Is it market ready? PS. What about a pump action bull pup shotgun for a short profile that is important in self defense or clearing rooms and making a mess of jihadi types? Maybe a drop in frame for Remington 870 DM.
If you make a worthy pup 870 DM plug and play product, you will be busier than a mosquito at a nudist colony and as rich as Trump says he is
After that, a lever action bull pup for shits and giggles for my Marlin lever action guide gun. Hop to it! Time is a wastin'!!!! Get rich and make gun stuff!

Maaaaybe down the road I'll do some crazy stuff, but my love is precision and long range rifle for now

new bullpup is getting released at SHOT. Making two more "prototypes" that should be just perfect, after that production run...

boom stickAre you going to demo it on media day? That is a must if you can. Free publicity is a wonderful thing. I'm telling you, if you make that shotgun a bull pup, you will be busier than a cucumber in a woman's prison. Sometimes you have to go for the large niche products to support your smaller niche products. To thine self be true. Yadda yadda. Good luck! Luck, perseverance and your hard work will go far.

Tyler KempUnfortunately Media/Range Day is a separate entity. Now I know for next year! But I am in the tiny "NEXT" tables right in prime position for media.

K EvansTyler made the trays for me and they arrived the day after we left on a hunting/business trip to Germany, Austria and Namibia. We're on the way home and I'll check them out in a few hours. They are for .470 NE and .505 Gibbs.

K EvansI finally got home and was able to check out the trays Tyler made...absolutely awesome, cases fit perfectly. Tyler, one small problem, though...you sent three and I think I only paid you for two. PM me the amount and it'll be on the way.

twobobbwanaTyler,
How heavy are these stocks ???
Would one of these, with a folding buttstock, make into a great mountain hunting rifle...…...foldable so they fit into a helicopter better ?????
In cold New Zealand mountain hunting they would also need a material that you didn't stick to in the cold.
Just thinking out loud.

richjWAG 7lbs

Tyler KempThere's no folding, the action is right there!
The stock is 4lbs, lighter than the standard chassis. It's pretty milled out inside.

The first was a prototype in a different color, no payment needed

Send it along to someone if they can use it and you have more than you need!
