Hi Rusty. No, I chose to stop my project which was going to be done by Gila. Mike was very helpful but waiting so long on the barrel would have been my end for sure.

NitroX,

actually it only takes ONE. You must not have even been divorced...?

This deal has been pretty much one sided for a couple of months. It's just sad, one hits the ignore button on the other and locks out being able to be PM'ed by several others. That keeps it in the public thread system, and keeps it running.
A PM is the way for the two parties to sort it out privately...that takes TWO!!

(and before get get into the"jeffe" part, it's embedded into my yahoo email, get over that already.)

Content trimmed, but not altered, for brevity

Funny enough, I can only see where i began "being agressive and hostile" towards Dan

was when I asked for a very basic fact

That is, proof of his position that SomChem (Somochem in his words) Labs said twist didn't matter.

I merely asked for this proof and refused to be rebuffed for this critical piece of data, which Dan did not provide.

Then began the same behavoir we are seeing him take with JJ_MIller.

So, I guess asking Dan to provide a modicum of proof is tantamount to hostile rude and boorish behavoir.

Funny, I thought Dan was a lawyer, and providing proof should be a trivial matter

Sorry we did not do any test on the verification of the twist and the pressure accompanies it.

So we don’t have any documents regarding these test.

Rich, we sorted it out with a phone call prior to the commencement of this thread. But still I tried to steer well clear of this fellow to avoid the problem arising again. But after a couple of months, the 'other party' went back to his old antics, although not nearly as intense.

What use would it be to sort it out again with someone who can't stick to the deal?

Hence my repeated requests that the other party not respond to my posts or post anything to me. This is a fresh attempt to bury the hatchet, but this time without relying on the other person's honor or honesty. And hopefully the forum decorum folks will appreciate this effort to have peaceful forums.

Unfortunately some guys think that burying the hatchet means this:

NitroX,

you may have to run a poll here to get any consensus on that...

My interaction with Jeffe has been uniformly cordial and informative. He's always available when I PM or post, or Email, or call him about stuff. He's got a lot going on here and elsewhere. He takes strong stands on things, you always know where he is on a subject. Having opinions and sharing them in public always lands you in conflict from time to time. I like his attitude about firearms and hunting and life in general. I AM going to get my butt down to Texas one of these days for a pig hunt with him and the rest of that rowdy bunch down there.

Is he right all the time? NO
Is he consistent? YES
Am I pleased and proud to call him my friend? He-double toothpicks YES!
