Does CZ make different size front sight beads ?
Two of my friends are working on one in 416Rigby and another in 458LOTT .
I find the bead a tad small.

Don't know. But you could inquire of CZ via e-mail, it seems to me......

yes, height ONLY size 1 to 14, difference of 1mm each..
but those are the same size bead

can run an necg dovetail cutter in and use all the necg inserts

oz, I think you should also contact New England Custom Guns as they have had made some replacement front sights for the CZ's, at least the sourdough model (I bought one to go with the peep sight they make for the CZ as well), because they may have also had made some bead sights. These don't show up on their web site so a direct contact is called for.

They also offer replacement sights in a larger red fiber-optics version. I don't know if they will hold up to the 458 Lott, but when my 416 Rigby gets back from the gunsmith, we will see if the fiber-optics hold up on it. FYI, I discovered the sight option by email to CZ. It took two weeks for them to respond, but I was able to order by email also.

I don't know if its true ... because you cant trust everything you read on the internet
But ... the CZ pistol foresights may be interchangeable.

My 458 cz lott came with a #8 front sight, which was too short. You can get their phone number from their website and order a different sight. I ordered a #14, haven't had a chance to see what difference it will make. The #8 shot way high. The bead on the #14 is larger than on the #8 and has white paint to make it more visible. It took a little less than two weeks for my order to arrive. I did have to file the sides of the new sight to make it fit the slot.
