boom stickWhat do YOU want for Christmas?
What Big Bore gift would make you happy as a kid on Christmas to receive?
For me, I think this would...
But in 450 NE

. I would not sneer at the 450/400 as is though

surefire7Now that's a beauty! Thanks for the eye candy.
I already have all of the big bores I want. However, I sold my Ruger Alaskan 416 a while back and will probably replace it in the future. So at the moment, I guess that would be it. I have two cases of ammo in the basement, so that alone justifies the purchase doesn't it...?
Not a big bore, but since I've been a good boy all year long, Santa should probably bring a 358 Norma down the chimney tonight. But unless it's in his sleigh right now, the probability of that happening is low.
Merry Christmas Boomie!

I love that movie!
My first 'gun' too was a BB gun I bought from my friend. My mother said OK, but don't shoot it in town. I promised, crossed my heart, and then went out in the back yard, pointed it at our spot light, which I knew the BB couldn't reach, and pulled the trigger. KAPOW! Glass everywhere...
We boys were taught in my family to tell the truth, or the consequences would be grim. If we told the truth, no spankings, but we would always have to pay for any damages. The bulb cost $5. My weekly allowance (pay for household labor) was 5 cents/week. Being fair at math, I realized that would take 100 weeks (2 years) to pay off. No allowance for 2 years.
Now that, was parenting. To this day, I thank God for my parents.
Hope you get your Red Ryder Boomie!! (Don't shoot it in town...)

True that!
Although time with my newborn is so precious.
I feel like the grinch who's heart grew every time I see her.

JiriFor me .585 HE rifle. Wayne York from Oregon is building one for me, so maybe next Christmas.
I like my 500 SW revolver very much. I can shoot it one hand with full loads, no problem to fire 50 rounds on shooting range (with pauses for cooling), so I believe I can handle more. Some (today non existent) .585 revolver will make me happy for a long time

MileHighShooterWell, it is a little past Christmas, but I was hoping for a 404. Today, Z1R helped get that going. Santa procrastinated a little bit, but my 404J will be mostly done in a few weeks, or at least the action will be barreled and chambered. Stock needs a tiny bit of fitting, then sights, then blueing!
If you think every possible niche has been filled already, thank a wildcatter!
