How about we close it out and talk about something else?

You have to request the special membership from Saeed and Don.

With the special membership the scroll bar and your mouse are not disabled.

If go one step futher and get the Gold Membership this allows you to see how many pages and how many replies have been made.

One of the big pluses you get with these special memberships is that you don't waste valuable time reading pages and pages about something in which you have no interest.

I think the correlation between barrel oscillation and yaw due to >.40cal. projectiles being fired through a fast twist barrel impacts on projectile stability, accuracy and ultimately penetration should be discussed on this thread kindly donated by 45/70 Govt. cheers

The 1st post was who is sick of it. I have not read past page 1. If they want to go on an on and on etc. Let them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me, this is way to much BS. I talked to some
retired game wardens who told me more deer had been killed with a 22lr or a 30 30 in Texas than anything. NONE ask about the twist or anything else. They just died. The last deer I
Killed was a luck shot with a 3 screw Ruger 357 at 20yds. I have no idea what the twist is in a 4 1/2" 357 mag. Deer dead, Me full. End of story.

You are forgetting that different people have different levels of interest.

For example, your interest is to use the least in guns.

On the other hand, an Australian wheat farmer just runs over roos....he would have no understanding or interest in the small number of animals you shoot....or why you waste ammo.

But it continues to amaze me that people love to read and respond to/or/about threads in which they have no interest.

Did you really read the first page....... Big Grin You can't be serious.....surely you have enough brain power that the first couplle of postings would have told you that it was not your scene.

Your reading must be unreal when a thread interests you.

Hmm ,although technically a big bore, perhaps the 45 70 should be banished to the medium bore forum, to be with calibers of smilar performance. Then we could go on and on and on about twist without complaint......dont worry, just teasing.
