Front sights for CZ 550 Login/Join

Hi there.
Please can anyone point me in the right direction?
I need to purchase a large bead front sight for my CZ 550.
I would like a red flourecent or a clasic white bead.

I already have a red, large bead but it is to short, I need a taller one.

NECG masterpiece fronsights can be made to fit. but NECG apparently dont have what I need and it certainly would be easier if there was a manufacturer that made the "right" and fiting front sights for a CZ550.

Any leads are welcome Smiler

racknagel in germany, or necg in the states, makes direct insert replacements for the CZ .. or you have buy the cutter (good plan!) and recut the cz base for NECG inserts.

Brownells stocks NECG CZ front sights, including fiber optics ones.

Here you are:

Just bought a red fiber optics, with a CZ ghost ring:

Best combo you can have for iron sights. I'll try and get some pictures.

Thanks, great. !!

A ghost ring is like a peepsight right? How will a ghost ring / peepsight fit the gun when it is also shot with a scope. I saw NECG had some pop-up ones, but they were not for CZ bases.

I' really like to see some pictures Smiler

Thanks for the help.

Niels,

Various heights of front sights are available from CZ. I went through the sight regulation process with my 550 magnum as well.

Cz assigns numerical values to their sights as to height. #14 being the tallest. I wound up with a #14 red fiber optic front that I got directly from CZ. The cost for that sight was about $20.00 U.S. + shipping.

You can contact them at: gunsmith@cz-usa.com

Their primary gunsmith is named Mike Eagleshield, and given his workload, he's quite helpful. Hope this is helpful to you!

Best of luck with your sights!
