I believe so. There was an online aution for a CZ 550 338 LM barreled action being run in NZ by a gunsmith of decent repute who said that should a stock be required he could get a blank duplicated from his ZKK 602 stock as the CZ550 fitted it perfectly. I haven't seen it but having owned a 602, from what I have seen of CZ550s I can well believe this. Steve

i THINK so, as he'll have to inlet for the bass awkwards safety on the 602 ... i think 550 metal in a 602 wood would wind up with a gap opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? As I remember there is no barrel recoil lug on the CZ 550. The ZKK has a forward barrel lug. A minor point but it would nee to be addressed. Anything Worth Doing Is Worth Overdoing.

I don't see any REAL difference in the safeties on my 602 and 550. They look basically the same they just move in reverse to each other to perform the safe function. My 550 has a barrel recoil lug the same as my 602. Both have a screw thru the forearm into this lug. The safety on my 602 does fit slightly over the bolt handle to lock the bolt when in the forward safe position. Wood inletting LOOKS to be the same but I did NOT take them out of the stock to check. I put a Brockman laminate drop-in on my 550 and the one part that was not completely inletted was the front barrel lug. It was just roughed out and required fitting. I own a 550 and a 602 and yes they can be made to fit one another but it will need someone with a bit of skill to do so

I know it works the other way around. My CZ 550 action fit a mcmillan 602 kevlar stock. Andy

And I have put a BRNO ZKK 602 into a CZ 550 Magnum stock from McMillan. The only differences were in the safeties and the trigger wells. Trigger well mods are easy, hidden, reinforced with epoxy, and no one will ever know. Safety relieving should be cosmetically fixable. Should be a go. The action is otherwise the same between the two regarding the bedding. I even had to enlarge the barrel channel of the McMillan, which was supposed to handle only up to No. 5 sporter contour, to fit a much heavier straight taper that is 0.850" at the 23" muzzle. Even a caveman can work with fiberglass and epoxy. Wood just requires better than stone tools.
