404 jeffrey factory ammo now available
I was at the hunting show in Dortmund Germany recently and I see that RWS is selling new 404 Jeffrey ammo in both softs and solids. I think the bullets are Woodleigh. The price was 95 Euros for a box of 20 which is comparable to 458 ammo over here and much less than 416 Rigby.

The loaded ammo is made by RWS. They used to make their own 404 brass so I imagine they still have the machinery and are doing it again but I didn't think to ask the salesman. If it is RWS they make good brass. The ammo they used to make with their own brass and solids drove a 400 grain bullet at about 2330 FPS. But I am pretty sure they are now using Woodleigh solids and softs.

It`s quite possible that the brass i made by Norma Sweden, since Norma and RWS has been cooperating and sharing products since a rather long time.

However RWS or Norma doesn´t matter, brass i still all that and then some.

Best regards Chris
