| I was advised by my gunsmith to bed my American .458 Lott and also put in two cross bolts. JJS, who posts here, cracked the stock on his (un-bedded) American stock the first day he shot it. As simple as the proceedure is, why take a chance? You certainly won't make the stock crack, and you may well prevent it from doing so. And... most anyone can do it themselves in an afternoon with a kit from Brownell's. |

| I guess it's one of those things that make you go hmmmm in life. If it's such a quick fix and CZ-USA will do it for $80 then why don't they just fit that into their production schedule. Could be an added selling point. Is the Ruger factory bedded? |
