Okay guys, this is a shooters' emergency!

Our pal in Texas, Jeffoso is about to run out of H335 and has had a lot of trouble replenishing his supply. I managed to find him an eight pound keg of Ramshot TAC to hold him over until his new supply comes in. Now, I just have to find a way to get it to him. Is there any chance someone up north here may be passing through Omaha or my area and headed down to Texas. If so, send me a PM and if possible, I will try and hook up with you to get the powder on it's way down to Jeff.

Dave

I can remember when you could not buy COORS beer south or east of Buffalo TX. Eeker

One reason why, when in High School, I bought a Oldsmobile 98, was so I would have a big enough trunk to carry a weeks suply of Coors beer when on hunting, fishing, and SCUBA trips. Big Grin

i worked for the coors dist in bryan tx in 77-78... same time coors light was test marketed in south texas... made a trip to the corpus christi area and smuggled it back to our market....in the san angelo area, coors had been there since 1966.....so distribution in texas was spotty

It is highly improbable that an individual or even business can legally ship powder.

The shipper in addition to Hazmat charges has to have Hazmat bonding and an Emergency Response Team. Guys shipping primers under the table for a fast buck are really exposing themselves to D.O.T.

Good luck shipping powder. A couple of months ago I sold some VV on AR. I could find no way to ship it and only completed sales to the local guys.

I called UPS Haz Mat Hot Line

Me: I have Hazardous Material to ship. I have MSDS sheets with the correct UN numbers in the boxes it originally shipped in.

UPS: What is it?

Me: Gunpowder

UPS: Are you an approved HAZ Mat shipper with UPS

Me: We ship Haz Mat and have a UPS account.

UPS: Not good enough you have to be approved by UPS to ship gunpowder.

Me: Who is approved in my area?

UPS: We cannot (will not) give out that information.

Me: How can I ship it if I do not know who is approved?

UPS: That is your problem.

Me: Thanks
