I have a Mauser chambered in .458 Win Mag. Need help identifying it. Has markings under the barrel "Federal, Oakdale,PA.", Also on the barrel it has stamped *BT*. Ser. # is MAG20092, on the very rear of the receiver, left side it says, "STA.BARBARAIND-SPAIN". On the bottom of the receiver lug, it has stamped M 239. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think it is a commercial Mauser, but not sure. Here are a few pic's. JohnP

There is a Federal Firearms gunshop in Oakdale PA. I remember years back they sold after market actions. E.R.Shaw barrel makers is just down the road from them. Its possible they may have put a barrel on it.

I agree with the first to replies. BTW, I think your trigger is cracked. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. Thank you, gentlemen. Any idea on the value? It has a pretty decent thumbhole stock on it. Thanks again, JP JohnP
