what big bore would you have used!

a guy riding an elephant wishes he had something more than a whip to defend himself. i am so impressed at how fast big cats are ( i would have loved to have seen this in real time).
see how high he jumps!

i am thinking a 500 nitro double...

this is why big cats are considered dangerous game. wouldnt you say a tiger being bigger than a lion is far more danderous?

i wonder what set this kitty off???

My favorite animal!! I love those cats, there fore have no desire to hunt one. Defending oneself without a rifle, well, a camera seems all right! Or bait the tiger by pushing the whip man down and hopefully it appeases the beast!!

Cool video!!!!
I would have to go with a howdah pistol, in .577 or maybe a 12 bore. as fast as that kitty was coming there was not enough time to react or swing a long barreled rifle (even a double). A large caliber short barrel pistol would seem a better choice.

WTF good is that clip? It doesn't show what happened to the mahout as a result of the tiger's swat.
