Those names ring a bell Ron.

It would make a classy 375 for one of those Rem 700s that come in 338 Lapua.

Mike,
So the latest poop on the .375 BM is back to my first guess months ago,
that it is the closest factory thing to a .375/404 Jeffery-Saeed,
which, if made with Norma brass,
is about one grain of water smaller than the .375 RUM brass by Remington,
but has only half the rebate of the RUM,
and that could be overlooked by the willing.

I will take pen in hand and write Triebel on paper and see if they ignore that,
regarding dies for the "9.5x69mm Tornado" (as made by Waffen Jung) aka .375/.338 Lapua Magnum,
aka "Whatever."

2RECON knows the "Whatever" name ...

That .375 Lapua Magnum,
when made with .338 Lapua Brass (top of the heap stuff and rated to 70Kpsi with no rebate and a thick head),
has identical case capacity to Saeed's .375/404 J-S.
If you load it to 3.75" COL, it has greater net case capacity than any of the above.

So the rank of net case capacities,
using the long-nose loading trick,
could become (note case-length/COL for this game),
from least to greatest net case capacity:

1. .375 BM ......... (2.8"/3.6")
2. .375 RUM ........ (2.85"/ 3.6")
3. .375/404 J-S .... (2.86"/3.75")(It takes a long bullet like the Walterhog.) thumb
4. .375/.338 LM .... (2.724"/3.75") Cool (Takes a long bullet, eh? Mine has a .375 WBY-2001 throat, .3700"-long freebore. Perfect for Walterhogs and more.)

Yes, the only fly on the .375 Lapua is that it has lesser magazine box room,
with the fatter Rigby-diameter case,
but can still get 4 down in a drop box, Magnum Mauser or CZ or Dakota, etc.
