I was looking at Midway and they discountinued the reasonable price Jamison brass.

They had the $450 RCBS die set but back order the $185 RCBS dies. Both are three die sets. You can guess, which dies I want. Then maybe I should ask, why the price difference on 505 dies. I see the same option for the 500Jeffrey dies.

Can some one recommend a good online shooting supply catalog for these items. I am trying to put together a large order from one place and save on shipping or get a discount for amount spent.

I ordered 505 dies from CH4D, good small friendly operation to work with. They will basically make anything you want. We worked out a plan to salvage my 2 boxes of 505 from A-square. Those are out-of-spec. I need to push the shoulder forward a smidge. We think a trim die might do the trick and still be a useful die later. So, I ordered the sizing die set, trim die, shellholder, 1" thread bushing adapter Smiler I am smiling but it hurts too. It looks like getting setup to shoot the 505 cost as much as another gun.

Hit a snag on the brass, Graf has it, price is fair, but no shipping brass to Mass. Mad Thank you liberal Democrats. So; I got to work around that, maybe get a gun shop to call it in for me. Graf is good, no question.

No body has everything, but I plan to keep Graf at the top of my list.

Thanks everybody for the help.

ps. Everything is a problem for 505, I am also looking for 20 round plastic rifle ammo boxes. Maybe a real long 20 ga, 4 inch? Not found anything over 416 rigby rifle or 10 ga too big.

fourbore,

Send Dave three cases fired in your chamber and ask him to make the sizing die to match.

Then, consider pulling down your A-Square ammunition, and fireforming it to your chamber.

the A2 ammo made a couple years ago is JUNK .. wrong dimensions and too short .. cz had a HUGE problem with it .. pull it down for bullets, and loaded with a a2 bullet, don't shoot those at anything you plan to eat or that might eat YOU
