I don't have the rifle, but was given a ctg in a handful of big bore for my collection. I figured I would be more likely to get correct responses here than from the guys who just collect ctgs. Bullet diameter .483? What kind of velocity and bullet weights/designs were available when this ctg was in its heyday? Was this ctg as effective as it was intended to be?
