I don't have the rifle, but was given a ctg in a handful of big bore for my collection. I figured I would be more likely to get correct responses here than from the guys who just collect ctgs. Bullet diameter .483? What kind of velocity and bullet weights/designs were available when this ctg was in its heyday? Was this ctg as effective as it was intended to be? Any of ya'll actually shoot or use one of these?

I am guessing those ballistics are using long sticks of cordite. Wonder what modern powders could do in a really strong rifle running around 65K psi? Just daydreaming.
