Local shop has SS one with rebberized grips. Maaan, hold on to that stock when that thing goes BAAAANG. I already own .375H&H, but I much prefer my minty Model 1899 in 300 Savage.

For me the fundamental problem is that the rifle and cartridge are from Ruger. Personally, I am not fascinated with the 375 Ruger because I am a huge 375 H&H fan, and the only Ruger rifles I like are the RSM and #1.
