2 Bore Jones Underlever B/P Cartridge Rifle

I've just got one order at this time for another 2 Bore Jones, it's going to be a Side by Side though, so it ought to be fun to build.

When will we see the start of this 2-bore double rifle's build sequence?

It'll be great to see how you do with that one.

Will you be running a shoe lump on that rifle?

It'll be a while, I have almost all the parts(a couple small parts are still on backorder from my suppliers) and materials in shop for it but I have 2 Muzzleloading riles to build before I start on the Double 2. Probably late summer or early fall, but I will do a documented build when I do start.

The 2 Bore and a rather unbecoming picture of me in full recoil(and of the cases by S&H) and a very nice write up by Craig Boddington is in the May 2011 issue of Guns and Ammo(Gun Notes page 30,32 and 33).

Craig's exploits are always a pleasure to read. Looks as though we may have a variety of 2-Bore rifles to test in the future, any volunteers for max load testing?
