Could anyone recommend a quick release set up that would work with the Ruger RSM?. Thank you in advance. Happy Holidays and I wish everyone and their families a Happy and Healthy New Year...Mike

The Warne QD rings work well and can be ordered from Cabelas:

I also have an RSM (416 Rigby) and did some checking around and the only ones I was able to find were the Warnes. I picked up a set from Cabela's about a month ago. They were selling out the ones with the gloss finish cheap. The online store was out of stock for the medium height, but I picked up mine at their Hamburg, PA store. Cost around $45 if I remember correctly. Other than that, the best price I found was from Midsouth Shooters Supply.

I'm quite satisfied with the Warnes.

.........You can get famcy and use a big screwdriver but a quarter is cheaper and doesn,t mar the nuts ....

.If it can,t be grown , its gotta be mined ....

Don't believe you can beat those rings that come with the Rugers for they are bullet proof and as mentioned are easy to remove and reinstall with a coin/quarter. Have used the lever type in the past, but they will and do catch on brush, clothing, snags, etc. To each his own, but the quarter is the simplest approach.

I'd have to back Jeffe on this one, in Australia I'd say a 10 cent piece,

The Ruger mounts are well made and very good at returning to zero, a coin in the slot to screw them on and off is just fine

If you know how to weld cleanly, weld a fin in the groove, or get your gunsmith to do it

regards

No no no. Not a quarter! A brass Chuckie Cheese token is much better!

I have the Falcon Industries levers (that go on the Ruger rings) and I have the Warne QD lever rings.

I like best the regular Ruger rings and my brass token in my pocket.
