WyoJoeThat gun has been for sale for quite a while. I ran accross it a few months ago when I was looking for a big bore.

Only thing I can see to be used is the action. That barrel has NO taper. I'm not big enough to carry it around.

analog_peninsulaIt's a copy of some phony "collector" Winchester model 70s that were built as .458 target guns, complete with target aperture sights. I thought they were ugly, useless, pointless, phony "collector" pieces that were deliberately built to be unique (and unusable).
You can probably gather that I don't think much of the idea.

meteThat reminds me of the fellow who made up a bolt action PISTOL in 458 and used full loads for handgun metallic silhouette !!!

RobgunbuilderWell after " ringing" quite a few 1/2 size Rams at 200m with my 6mm RLG . I thought about a nice 454 casull bolt action. Rem pistol too.
However, the 458 win mag bench gun is a real loser idea although at 100yrds or so I'll bet its a one holer!!-Rob -Rob

mr rigbythe M-70 was fine, this is too much, do you need a recoilbreak when the rifle weighs that much?
