Jeffeosso:

You are right.

How much would you charge to switch barrels, and, which barrel would you use?

Since you've rebarreled a .375 to a .416 Ruger, kind of strange, since the cartridge just went public, but, I know, you must have in's with Steve Hornady and Ruger, what, if any modifications did you make to insure 100% feeding?

And, since you are a gunsmith, what would you charge for the entire job, parts?

Where can the original poster contact you to have the job done?
GS

PS: If you won't do it, who did you have do the rebarrel for your Ruger .375 to .416? Would you please provide contact information?
What did he charge you? Maybe you can sell the OP the barrel you took off your ruger, and, he can send that off to be rebored, rather then having to send his entire rifle off? Then have a local smith fit the barrel, saving shipping costs?

PPS: Would Ruger be willing to do a barrel swap, since they aren't making left handed .416's???? OP, have you called them?
Never let it be said Ruger doesn't respond to what they think customers want. Heck, calling them might show interest, and, they might start making them left handed...

Confused

Since left handed .300 Win Rugers are cheaper, and more around then the .375: What work would be required to convert a .300 Win action to .416 ruger? What would you charge, Jeffe?
