Drillings are really neat if they have the correct balance and weight for you. So many of them are heavy and too long. I have not heard of the "Blazer" til now but I welcome more drillings. I am really just a rifle (and pistol) man. But when you carry a drilling you are ready for just about anything. The bear season opened in VT Sept. 1st and I have a house (the camp) there. So I have already been "bear" hunting. The small game opens soon and it's cool to scout for deer, take a grouse or more and pretend that I might get a bear.

Crash, Thanks for letting us know. I did not know that Blaser drillings were being imported to the US. Their R93 and K95 rifles have some followings. Here's the link to the German website (in English) that describes these guns Blaser Home Page SigArms imports all of their stuff. --QD [ 09-15-2002, 21:41: Message edited by: quickdraw ]

Gentlemen, The blaser drillings aren't really worth thier price. reciver made of aluminium and there is to much plastic on them. Merkel haes better drillings for the money than Blaser. A friend of mine had one for a while but traded back his god old trusted Sauer& Sohn drilling. Cheers / JOHAN

Drillings are a great peice in the arsenal. I have 2 both are 9.3X72R with 16 ga double. For me the handling is great, I am taking it with me to Africa next month. I want to take a Warthog or Impala with it. The round is an old slow black powder round. It will also be nice to shoot some dove, sand grouse and piegons with.
