I have to ask, if you know that is a set trigger, if you push forward on it after cocking it will set to a pound or so. the trigger is adjustable, there is a set screw left of the trigger to adj for #'s. My rifle came with the straight single set trigger installed, It also came with a more taditional trigger. I had purchased a use zzk 600 and played with it for two or three days before I figured out it had a set trigger. JD DRSS 9.3X74 tika 512 9.3X74 SXS Merkel 140 in 470 Nitro

Yes JD I know about the set trigger. I have set triggers on my drilling, and I like it. But it is a feature designed for plinking i very controlled situations, not DG hunting.

The AHR trigger Jeff mentioned is $85 and should be shippable to Norway. Ed will tell you if it fits the 602. I have one on my 550 Magnum and like it very much; very simple and crisp. Email him at ed@hunting-rifles.com. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

Just thought I should let you know the sorry end to this story. I emailed Ed, and asked him about a trigger for my BRNO 602. He sold me one, and shipped it to Norway. I have not been able to figure out how to install it, and took it to a gunsmith, who told me that there is no way to make this trigger fit. I emailed Ed a few days ago, and his reply was: We have never had a 602 in here. We only put them on CZ-550 actions. I know the safeties, but do not know about the 602's. Strange that he would sell me one for my 602, without ever having seen such a rifle...

Timney makes a trigger for the 550. Its a whole trigger assembly, and a call to timney will tell you weather it fits your rifle or not...tj3006 freedom1st

All you need is a standard 602 trigger. I have one, if you are interested. They make good triggers, after proper installment. Bent Fossdal Reiso 5685 Uggdal Norway

Correct me if I am wrong.... Doesn't NECG have a trigger assembly that will work on a cz550 and therefore possible the 602? Regards, Dave

I don't believe that the triggers from th zkk602 and the cz550 are similar at all. The zkk602 trigger is attached to [hinged on] the trigger guard and is then slotted into the action. It is not attached to the action, at least mine is not. After some gunsmith polishing and moly lubrication of the various surfaces, my trigger now is quite acceptable, still odd but it does work nicely now.

Timney also makes a trigger for the CZ 550 but it does not fit the 550 magnum. 458Win....actually with a little work on the trigger guard, it works fine. I bought one thinking it was the 550M and it wasn't. Took me about 1/2 hour to install the trigger and fit the guard. A BIG improvement over the factory trigger..at least in my opinion. Pics were posted on this site a couple of months or so ago.
