I bought a 338 WM with the intention of doing the same thing. Ordered one of the super sale montana rifleman barrels last week. A good smith should have no problems w/ the conversion. Make sure you ask a/b their ability to install open sights. | |||

It might be cheaper to sell and buy a 375 ruger, although there will be no love lost for another 7mm rem mag turned into something useful. John | |||
