SnowwolfeRuger to 458 Win
I picked up a LH stainless ruger originally chambered in 300 Win Mag. This rifle has "short barreled 458 Win Mag" written all over it. Question, Would it be a good candidate as far as getting it to feed the fatter rounds easy?

GeorgeSIt may take some work, but it is not an unusual conversion.

jeffeossoassuming mark II, it will be a rebarrel ONLY .. the feeding will be perfect.
you'll have to put a pin down the wrist and bed it.
or make it a 458 AR and have lott velocites from a 23"
