Robgunbuilder.600 Overkill Cup nose Boreriders . Max velocity and Terminal performance design
I just wrote some code for a .600 overkill borerider. Weight should be about 900 grs in brass. Only has a .620 bearing surface of .5 inches so pressures should be markedly reduced. The rest of the bullet (1.4 inches) just rides on the lands of the barrel. With these I think I'll be able to significantly exceed the 2400fps limit at 65KPSI with 900 gr bullets. I designed them with a cup nose too as that will be interesting on game. I plan to make a bunch next week in both brass and partially annealed copper. May need a crimping groove to feed thru the mag though. Should be interesting.-Rob

boom stickYou mean 20 Gauge solids right

I like bore riders...
I would think bore riders would be more inherently accurate not that it needs it.

Is a long range high BC 600 bullet in the works?

Just in case you need to shoot an impala @ 300 yards
