Just got an e-mail on this shoot at Trinity Outfitters in Ennis. How many of you Tejanos plan to attend? Hope it is well filmed.

Sorry Bill, but The DWWC is having a youth safety event that day at the Poetry Shooting Club. We have to go train more young shooters - had 30+ last year and expect more this year.
Let me know if you are in town that weekend and I will let you touch off a few .405 400 grainers and 45-90 450 grainers at 2150; I know how you like hard kicking rifles! Big Grin .

The email I received has a picture of me in a salmon colored shirt firing my .500 A2.

Wow, I really look fat!

I will be there, I went out today and checked out the range as we've had lots of rain and it wasn't muddy at all (just a couple of low places holding water). Hopefully, it won't rain too much between now and Saturday and we can all have a good time. There should be some demo rifles on hand with plenty of Hornady ammo to run thru them, demo doubles and free ammo make for a good time! Hope to see some of you there.

Sorry to say it may be years before I am "in town" anywhere in Texas again. Miss it.

The DWWC Youth Safety Event has been rescheduled due to forecast of rain Saturday. The site can be very muddy with rain as it was last year, so the event was slipped to September just before hunting season gets into full swing.

So...will we be seeing you at the Big Bore Shoot? May be pretty muddy around Telico, too but they have the range set up on a bit of elevated ground so it might not be too bad. You might just win. Plus you get some BBQ for lunch.
