Hi all, I picked up a new toy today.

It's a BFR in 475 Linebaugh with 6.5" bbl.
I can't wait to load some ammo and go shoot it. I'm going to take it Elk hunting in a month.
should be fun.

How did that 470 NE turn out?

The 470 is still sitting there half done. The right barrel is in place and the left one still needs some regulation before I solder it in place. I just finished up my engineering degree this summer, so most other things were put on hold.
I did have both barrels shooting within 4" at 50yds, but while trying to get them to print right on top of each other, I took too much metal off of the left barrel. I thought I'd just weld it up a little and start back again, but I blistered the bore near the muzzle.
I got a new blank from MRC and have it turned down and mostly on target. I just need more time at the range.
