Anyone know of a lightweight spitzer type bullet in 475? I have a Ruger number one in 475 Linebaugh. I am looking for something in 250-300 grain range that will shoot flatter than a typical pistol bullet. I figure 250-300 grain spitzer should load to about the same length to the ogive as a 425 grain flatpoint so I don't think OAL will be an issue.Bullet does not need to be anything special. I hope to use the gun on Whitetails. The DNR is supposed to allow rifles chambered in pistol cartridges in shotgun zones this year awaiting the final ruling. With a good bullet this will shoot way flatter than a shotgun slug. That and I can reload instead of paying for overpriced slugs. Thanks for any advice.

Barnes only lists a 500 grain in the 475 caliber. Checked all sellers I know of but none list the 280. The 280 would be perfect.

Yes they do offer a 275 grain 475 pistol bullet. Trouble is it is a flat nose hollowpoint. I am trying to find a spitzer shaped bullet to get a flatter trajectory.
