Any of you experienced experimenters got a pet load that shoots the little 125 grain bullet out of a classic full stock mannlicher?
All help greatfully received. I've tried the Vihtavouri powders up to maximum (54.3grns)but can't get it to print inside a dinnerplate at 50m, hardly good enough I think.

Thanks Paul, you can tell I'm new at this because having posted it I then had to try and find it. In the words of the great Sage Homer Simpson DOOOHHHH

Your bullets are too short to stabilize in that twist...I have had good luck by using the GS custom 130 gr. in the 8x57 or it may have been a 120 gr. in a 7x57, but either way as the monolithics are longer per weight, the stabilize much better int the 1x9" or 9.5" inch twists....

I now shoot the 160 gr. GS HV Custom in my 8x57 and it sure shoots fine and out penitrates the 185, 200, 220 and 250 gr. soft points by a great deal.
