I just received a Montana Rifle Co. .505 and want to mount an aimpoint, delta, Dr, etc type of sight to the grooved receiver. I Believe that they take CZ 550 rings. The base is slightly over 3/4 inch wide according to my primitive tape measure. Anybody know of a simple way? Any bases that clamp on and convert to one picatinny groove. Any dot sights that come with this type of base already installed? I would obviously prefer something that looks clean and neat! ![]() "The difference between adventure and disaster is preparation." I would suppose that the Trijicon RMR would have a base to fit that. Give them a call and give them the measurements. I love my Trijicon RMRs and gave one to a Ph in Zim that mounted it to his 416 Remington. He said that it saved his hunting career, with his eyes having drastically changed regarding iron sights. | |||
