MRC PH Action - Which Cartridge?

hairbolMRC PH Action - Which Cartridge?
I have a Ruger RSM in Lott i like it and it really shoots. I also have a Stainless MRC PH action in being built. So not really wanting to build a quantum leap above the Lott, but wanting something different or maybe just sell the action anyway I'm considering the following cartridges. 450 Ackley, 450 Dakota, 450 Rigby.
Which one should I look at and why? Are there any others in the 6000 to 7000 ft-lb range I should look at? Again I'm not looking to half again increase the energy of the Lott. But I do have an incredibly dense piece of broken fiddle Bastogne that would be a neat stock when sent to AI for their handy work for this project.

That would get my vote.

boom stickwhat is the point of getting the PH if you chamber it for a cart that can go in regular actions...
imho the PH is for rigby/Gibbs based carts on up.
470 mbogo over the 470 capstick ect...
Try the new belted Gibbs to 577 (.585")
Macifej just made some pretty bullets for it.(shameless plug)

SnowwolfeIt would seem a shame to build a 450 Ackley on the PH action when there "regular" Magnum action can be used for it.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Steve LefforgeI just placed my order today for the P.H. action and I went with the stainless and will have it built into a .460 Weatherby Mag.

boom stickI would like to see someone do a .729 (12 Gauge) 700 DA/700 Hubbel Express
aka 12 Gauge-DA/HE.
And if you know what DA stands for 12 Ga./DA is a apropo name.

Best just call it the "12GADA" as in GADA have one

GrandpasezDo my 585 Belted for starters. See the other
PH thread for info. Mac is making solids, and
KDF economical hardened lead slugs, plus the
Woodleighs out there. The KDFs go as fast
as the jacketed, cost lot less.My 585 is
same loaded length as 505 Gibbs.Ed

GrandpasezBoomy-I made a few of my belted 700
cases into 12ga by using expanders, but
the sides are too straight that I didn't
like it, but another guy is trying to
put it in a 12ga bolt gun he's making
on a bmg size action.Ed
