JudgeGI think the rifle wouldn't pass a steroid test. What a wonderful piece of steel and wood.

This Jeffery marked 100 cordite,-proves what John Taylor said-most of the Jeffery models, including his, were for the lighter 100 grain load. What are the chances that this one was Taylors? I suppose 1-20 odds. Or maybe his has already been claimed. India? I did not read much about it-was too busy looking at the pictures.hehe
I'm just in awe.
Drooling, like a tired ol' bloodhound.

500grainsIs this the one that was for sale at Champlins for $39K about 5 years ago? That one had been restocked by Herb Klein. If not, then it is its twin.

465H&HIt looks like a twin to the one I saw this past weekend in Baker OR. Just beautiful.

I can't remember who bought that one, but seem to remember it had a (non-original) elephant engraved on it. Both very nice looking guns.

AfricanHunterBuggered screw slots don't look very good. Makes one wonder what else may have be "played" with during it's life.
