I visited barnes website. They have a list of bullets that is discontinued. I'm surprised that 400 grain solids in 416 is on the list?

It seems like barnes has stopped makeing bullets in 404 and tightend the line of weight and calibers

johan the 416 is listed as a current item on the new barns website they are not discontinued the supplyer you listed is no longer stocking them thats all. barns are selling to many 416 bulls to discontinue them.



ps the 510 dia 600 grain solid for the jeffery,or 500 a-square type cartriges are no longr shown that sucks.



dosnt really matter now we have bridger bullets. and we still have woodleigh

about damn time they went to a slightly lighter bullets.. to be the same LENGTH ... which means your ABC wizmag will gain some fps and STILL penetrate like a cobalt drill in cold roll.

you might check the products for the weights listed, rather than their online store dumping some stock... different accounting buckets

I guess it's some beanie chaseing cents and missing dollars

I see the .416 400grn solid is in their .pdf 2004 catalog, the only one I looked at. Have sent an email asking what gives.

I was very disappointed when Barnes discontinued the 600 grain .475 several years ago. I bought the last hundred that I could find. They work great in my .470 Capstick. I keep hunting the Gun Shows, hoping to find a few more!!
