I'd like to see him shoot it prone ... Wow, that's an ugly piece of hardware. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

Thanks for sharing the video. I would have thought the .700 nitro would have much more recoil! Guess this fellow knows how to hold the rifle firmly against his shoulder. David

His family has been building rifles for a long time - he probably has it figured out.

Jeez - that is some serious shove! Look at how his neck whips around when he shoots it! Anybody want to hedge a guess at how much $$ in ammo he went through with that little video? $500? The double rifle looks OK, but a bolt action chambered for that round looks a little silly with its size. _____________________________________________________ No safe queens!

Yep, the ammo cost must be prohibitive for more than one take. A bigger budget for this movie would have reshot until these bobbles were concealed: 1. A misfeed and required (?) short-stroke recycle of the bolt on the last round in the magazine, or just nervously checking? 2. Ear muffs that keep flopping over the shooter's face when head whips backward. Shootaway's snowmobile helmet technique might be more comical if laughs are the goal. 3. Grimacing from effort as he closes the locking thumb lever on the double, with great effort required. Not cool. I marveled at this amateurism before, and do again. Gets funnier everytime I see this. The double was obviously heavier or loaded to lower intensity, as he did not do a tippy-toe-ballerina-tapdance after each shot with the double like he did with the bolt action. Is he light in his loafers or what? Peter H. or Peter Pan?
