I use IMR 4064 in mine. I found it gives a little better velocity then RL15 with a little less powder.

With a 300gr lead core Barnes original I use 75grs for 2580fps. Out of a 25 inch barrel.

Start low work up.

There is published data in “Any Shit you Want”

Likewise I have found 4064 to be slightly superior to RL 15.

Hasher - i think you meant SHOT - though what you posted is pretty funny, given the overstatements of velocity

Eny, I have 4 excellent articles on loading for the .416 Taylor. PM me & we'll see what you want.
I have a .416 Taylor Encore handgun built by SSK. I've taken 3 elephants( 1 charging at 12 yards), 475# lion ( charging at 25 yards), Cape buff, 28" roan all with one shot except the 1st ele. I've used only IMR 4064 powder with excellent results.
Just shot a groundhog with a 350X. Worked really good!!!
