If you can't find a good 2nd hand one, BOYDS is your best option

Any factory or aftermarket stock that would fit a mkII or Hawkeye 338WM will fit the 375Ruger African. The Hawkeye African shares the same dimensions/contour as all the 338WMs. I put a 375 African in a mkII 338WM boat paddle stock which makes the rifle lighter and is bomb proof. I think Phil Shoemaker put one in an All-Weather 338WM stock that worked well. The Ruger 338WMs came in both synthetic and laminated stocks from the factory and those stocks are available. IIRC, the 7mm Mag, the 300WM, and the 338WM all have the same series stock.

Good Luck

Brownells carries Ruger factory parts so you should be able get one of those Hogue rubber stocks like on the Ruger Alaskan model or one of these might fit:
http://www.brownells.com/.aspx..._Action__All_Weather

I would call Brownell's Tech Support 641-623-5401 and tell them what you have and ask them if the above stock will work esp. regarding the barrel channel size..
Slow on the draw I see I was......

i for one vote heavily for the ruger or hoag stock. its rubber outside is impervious to water and never gets slick. the lenght of pull and drop fit my 6 foot 5 inch frame to a tee. i especially like the pistol grig area that has a more vertical stance and allows a "pull" into your shoulder more practical then the older model 54 style stocks that ruger and some winchesters use. these are fine for 06 and lower power cart. but get into the harder pushing cal's and the hoag fits me very well

+1 for the HS Precision. I have one on an Alaskan 375Ruger and love it.
