The screwdriver in my US Army pocket knife works well too. Returns to zero very well too.

I use the Warne rings on my Ruger M77 in 416 Rigby. You can order them from midsouth shooters supply.

Warne makes a QR ring that fits on Ruger bases. I have them on my Taylor and they return to zero for me. I take them on and off pretty often, just to shoot open sights and scope sights. Mine are made of steel and add a bit of weight. I don't know of a Leupold base that fits Rugers. They make a ring that fits Ruger bases, you could have someone braze a lever onto the nut, or check to see if Meier levers would work. Burris makes an adapter to change to Weaver bases, but not to Leupold bases.

I have the Warne QR's on my Ruger RSM in 416 Rigby. They work fine. I would recommend them. I don't take mine on and off at all. I just look at them as insurance in case I ever do have to take the scope off the rifle.

Just my .02 but the Burris style Weaver base to Ruger gives you the flexibility to gain more scope adjustment forwards and backwards than the stock ruger rings.

I spent the money on Warnes and love them on my 416 RSM. Ruger Rings work as well for a third of the price. jorge
