Another wote for the leupold 2.5-8x32. german #4
Mine sits on a M70 / 375 H&H.
As a scope on a big game rifle it´s a hand down winner ( MHO )

Well I had a 1.5-5 Leupold vari-x III illuminated on my .375 and got rid of it for a 2.5-8 Leupold. With the 1.5-5 I was able to shoot 1.5 to 2" groups with it at 100 yards and I'm sure with just a little more magnification I can get under an inch. The other issue was I hated seeing my barrel and front sight on the lower powers, it is not nearly as evident on 2.5 power.
