I personally love the 300, and the 375 H&H Magnums, but how does the new 400 and for that matter the new 465 H&H Magnum stack up against the other 40s and 45s?

Have they (H&H) made any guns so chambered? They announced them a year or three ago but I don't remember ready any "hands on" reports. "There always seems to be a big market for making the clear, complex."

Yeah, they made a handful of guns. THe 400 H&H is a bit inferior to the 416 Remington because it has a bit less powder capacity. Personally I would prefer a 404 Jeffrey. The 465 H&H is based on the 460 Wby case, so it has more case capacity than a 458 Lott. But it has the rebated rim associated with the 460 Wby case. Personally I would prefer a 458 Lott.
