I've read all the Ruark books, read "Something of Value " in 1965 it was life changing for me. I liked all of his books, but I think this was the best one.

You might also be interested in "The Old Man's Boy Grows Older". I can't lay hands on my copy to tell you publish date, but you can search it I'm sure.

Also a must read, if you haven't already, is "Horn of the Hunter" published by Doubleday in 1953. This is my personal favorite.

Good Reading,
MaBell

(so many books,,, so little time)

Frank,

I just checked on:

www.safaripress.com

and Ruark's "Horn of the Hunter" is available there.

You should also give Jim Corbett a read, "Maneaters of Kumaon" is a good place to start.

Good Reading,
MaBell
