Looking for suggestions on a book or two to read about M1 Garands. I see there are many of them out there...and I am sure someone on here has read or own one or two of them to reference.

Jerry Kuhnausen manual for M1 + M1A. I have another new copy that I would sell for $65.00.You can possibly find one on Amazon;You should also pull up online anything from Bruce Canfield. More info from him than Carter has pills. Hope this helps.

As as NC suggested 'The M1 Garand Rifle' by Bruce Canfield is a great resource. Also any of Scott Duff's books.

Thank you for these, I ordered one of Scott Duff's books....along with "Use Enough Gun" and a Boddington book Big Grin

I couldn't stop at just one when I started looking dancing . Guess once I get a larger gun safe I need to get another book shelf animal

It is a fun rifle to shoot.As Patton described it as the best battle field rifle invented (or close to that). And there is no other sound like that ting when the en bloc clip is ejected.
