Jerry Kuhnausen manual for M1 + M1A. I have another new copy that I would sell for $65.00.You can possibly find one on Amazon;You should also pull up online anything from Bruce Canfield. More info from him than Carter has pills. Hope this helps. Never mistake motion for action. | |||

As as NC suggested 'The M1 Garand Rifle' by Bruce Canfield is a great resource. Also any of Scott Duff's books. Thank you for these, I ordered one of Scott Duff's books....along with "Use Enough Gun" and a Boddington book  I couldn't stop at just one when I started looking  . Guess once I get a larger gun safe I need to get another book shelf  "Let me start off with two words: Made in America" | |||

It is a fun rifle to shoot.As Patton described it as the best battle field rifle invented (or close to that). And there is no other sound like that ting when the en bloc clip is ejected. Never mistake motion for action. | |||
