Must-Have book for M1 Garand owner...
Looking for suggestions on a book or two to read about M1 Garands. I see there are many of them out there...and I am sure someone on here has read or own one or two of them to reference.

Jerry Kuhnausen manual for M1 + M1A. I have another new copy that I would sell for $65.00.You can possibly find one on Amazon; You should also pull up online anything from Bruce Canfield. More info from him than Carter has pills. Hope this helps.

As as NC suggested 'The M1 Garand Rifle' by Bruce Canfield is a great resource. Also any of Scott Duff's books.

It is a fun rifle to shoot. As Patton described it as the best battle field rifle invented (or close to that). And there is no other sound like that ting when the en bloc clip is ejected.
