This was technically the second day. I tried to shoot some patterns late yesterday, and it just did not work.

So, I started out shooting patterns at 30 yards as both barrels are choked M/M.

I shot two patterns from both barrels.

The patterning board is only 36x20 inches.

Both barrels printed 90 percent patterns. The load was Golden Pheasant No 6s 1 3/8s at 1250.

Then I shot 35 yard crossers breaking 10 out of 20. I was 10 for 16, but dropped the last 4.

4 observations.

I shot the rear/left hand barrel first to check that the front sear would not disengage. That worked wonderfully. No issues.

Modified 90 percent pattern at 30 yards with lead on small paper is awesome.

The gun is stocked amazing. My other 4 doubles have raised fibs. This gum has a flat parallel rib. When the stock cones under the check bone I’m right in line with the bead, but kind of over the rib. You go not want to force the stock up into the bone to be “down” the rib. Just bring it to the check bone and let it work.

The gun despite being 8 pounds is as lively as a Formula 1 racing car. Someone better than me could shoot her in a more calculated, pull away move. I shoot pull away with my other doubles and Benellis. This gun wants, dictates yo be shot very fluid. Instinctively. Again mount, you are swinging as you mount, and boom break clay. I missed those last 4 trying to shoot pull away.

I am very impressed. Taking her to Louisville as my only fun the 4th Weekend to try her oout in a bigger course.

Thanks for the report. I love to shoot side-by-sides and have considered having an RFM built for a duck gun. My specifications would be about the same as what you received. I would love to see pictures of your gun.
